My name is Tany Shaw.I first met Don in January  2002, when he came to Hinckley to visit his mother  and then came to visit his good friend  Ffank, my fiance. Don "arrange  an exam " for me on my knowledge  of Russian,  my native language. But  Don did  not know a word of Russian, he had a book-guide for a tourist coming  to Russia. It was very funny when he asked me questions like a very strict teacher. We had a lots of fun like a children and had a very good time. In April  same year Don was the most welcome guest in our wedding. Every time Don came to Hinckley to visit his relatives,  he stayed with us for few days. He became to me not only my husband 's friend, but also my close friend, almost a cousin. In May 2010Don married  my daughter  Svetlana and became a member of our family. We had many very good times  together. I still cannot believe that Don left us forever. He was a wonderful  person and a loyal friend. He had a special  sense of humor and it was always easy and fun in his company. Don was a very active person and always ready  to help anyone who needed  his help. Loving memory of Don in my heart forever.
